Rebuilding Local Economies and Community-Based Horticulture (REACH) Eastern Region-2023

CAWC with financial support of (NCA-UNDP) implementing Rebuilding Local Economies and Community-Based Horticulture (REACH) program in Kama and Goshta districts of Ningarhar province, Mehtarlam and Alishang districts of Laghman province, Chawki and Khas Kunar districts of Kunar province and Parun and Kamdesh districts of Nuristan Province.

This project aims to support vulnerable groups women, girls, youth, and marginalized farmers, using an integrated and environmentally sustainable intervention to strengthen socioeconomic recovery and resilience under two intervention strategies:

  1. Enhancing capacities of local farmers through climate-smart agriculture.
  2. Building local businesses’ resilience through access to finance and markets linkages. Specifically, under each outcome-level strategy.

The project will reach out to 2,584 individuals, 656 female & 1928 male.
