Promoting Climate Resilient Water Sanitation and Hygiene (CR-WASH) Services Daikundi Province-2022

The WASH Project implemented in the Sangtakht-O-Bandar & Kiti districts of Daikundi province by CAWC with the financial support of NCA from 01, Jan 2022 to 31, Dec 2022.

The project target areas were:
1. Sangtakht-O-Bandar district: Dahan-e-nala, Rabadan, Sar-e-Kharbid, Kharbid Kharparan, Obaha, Dahan-e-Roghani villages and Qala Sangi Clinic.
2. Kiti district: Petabdasht, Kiljoy, Sar-Bagh Sufla and Sar-Bagh Olya villages.
The project goal was: To contributed to the well-being and resilience of marginalized remote rural communities through sustainable services in water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion.

Through the implemented of this project, 781 families which included 1621 men, 1657 women, 2913 boys and 2310 girls total 8501 individuals accessed to permanent potable water, sanitation and hygiene services in an inform and sustainable manner.
