Promoting Climate Resilient WASH Services Daikundi Province-2020

CAWC with financial support of NCA from 01, Jun 2020 to 31, Dec 2020 implemented Promoting Climate Resilient WASH Services in Kiti district Daikundi province. This program covered 11 communities, Beda, Petab-e-Shinya, Merjuy, Juy Baghalak, Dahan Koshk, Bolagh Sarab, Royan Olya, Royan, Sufla, Qurghan, Sare Bagh and Royan school villages in Kiti district.

Through this project, 2 motorized pipe schemes and 4 gravity pipe scheme project were established. By the construction of these gravity pipe schemes and motorized pipe scheme in 6 target villages in Kiti district, (1193 men, 1442 women, and 2719 children) total #of 5354 individuals got access to safe drinking water.

The program consists of three components: Water Supply, Hygiene Promotion and Community Lead to Total Sanitation (CLTS).
