Environment and Renewable Energy-Micro Hydro Power (MHP) Bamyan-2019

The project was implemented in Topchi village of Shashpool, the center of Bamyan province. The overall objective of the project is to improve the livelihoods of the targeted community through the provision of renewable energy sources sustainably. The MHP upgrading and renovation will generate over 15KW electricity with 220 volts, and each family received 60 to 80W for lighting and other electrical devices needs.

The population of the concerned community is about 250 families equivalent to 1750 individuals (740 women, 522 men, and 488 children), with the financial support of UNHCR which implemented by CAWC from 01, Jun 2019 to 30, Sep 2019.
