Providing Electricity through MHP is also a clean form of energy and environmentally friendly. MHP plants supply cheap and sustainable electricity to numerous households who are living in the isolated areas. MHP reduce the families’ dependence on fossil fuel for lightening their houses. MHP schemes also promote income generation activities and small industries/businesses in the villages through supplying sustainable electricity.
CAWC has been consistently provided renewable source of energy for the communities living in rural areas of the country. since 2012, CAWC constructed number of MHP plant in Bamiyan, Daikundi and Faryab provinces with cooperation of Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and UNHCR
