Agriculture makes almost 90% of living for the people in rural communities, the problem such as insufficient arable land, inappropriate irrigation structures sack of government support and practice of traditional agriculture methodologies have all led to extreme food insecurity un employment and poverty

In response to the above-mentioned problem CAWC implemented livelihood improvement trough agriculture program in 16 communities of Bamyan and Daikundi provinces, under this agriculture program CAWC constructed number of irrigation canals, established new orchard a d nursery, formers received training o modern agriculture methodologies and improved seeds were distributed to the formers
